What is Google Ads management?
Google Ads management covers everything between a budget and a booked customer: keyword and audience research, campaign architecture, ad copy and creative, landing pages, bidding strategy, conversion tracking, negative keyword maintenance, and continuous optimization against what's actually converting.
The platform will happily spend your money without any of that. That's the trap — Google Ads is designed to be easy to start and difficult to run well. Automated bidding and Performance Max in particular will consume a budget efficiently while optimizing toward the wrong outcome if nobody has defined the right one.
Management is the work of making the spend accountable to revenue rather than to clicks.
Who should run Google Ads?
Google Ads works when three things are true: people are actively searching for what you sell, the value of a customer justifies the cost of a click, and you can handle the volume if it works.
Strong fit:
- ✓Home services with urgent demand — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, restoration
- ✓Legal, medical, and dental practices where a single client is worth hundreds or thousands
- ✓B2B services with a defined search category
- ✓Ecommerce with healthy margins and a clear best-seller
Poor fit:
- ✓Products nobody searches for yet — that's a demand-creation problem, and Meta is the better channel
- ✓Categories where a click costs more than a customer is worth
- ✓Businesses without the capacity to answer the phone
We run the math before recommending the channel, and we'll tell you if paid search isn't where your money belongs.

How does The MBC Group run Google Ads?
A senior strategist owns the account. AI handles the volume work underneath: search term analysis across thousands of queries, ad copy variant generation, anomaly detection on spend and performance, competitor monitoring, and reporting.
That matters more in paid search than anywhere else, because paid search rewards attention. An account reviewed weekly outperforms one reviewed monthly, and an account monitored daily outperforms both. Traditional agencies can't afford daily attention on a small account, so they don't give it. We can, because the monitoring is automated and the strategist is reviewing exceptions rather than reading reports.
- Week 1
Audit, tracking, keyword and competitor research, budget model.
- Week 2
Campaigns built, ad copy written, landing pages prepared. You approve before anything spends.
- Weeks 3–4
Launch and learning period. Daily monitoring, rapid negative keyword work.
- Month 2 onward
Continuous optimization with biweekly review against declared targets.
Why does 0% commission on ad spend matter?
Most agencies charge 10–20% of what you spend. That structure rewards them for spending more of your money, whether or not more spending is the right call.
The MBC Group charges a flat monthly fee and takes nothing from your ad budget. You pay Google directly, at cost.
Under a percentage model, every dollar you add to your ad budget adds to the agency's fee. Double your spend and you double what you pay them, whether or not the second half of that budget performs.
Our fee is flat. It doesn't move when your spend does, in either direction. The practical effect is that our incentive matches yours. When the right recommendation is to cut spend on a campaign that isn't working, we make it without it costing us anything.
Google Ads management vs. the alternatives
| Running it yourself | Google's rep | Percentage agency | The MBC Group | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How you're billed | Your time | Free | 10–20% of spend | Flat monthly fee |
| Whose interest | Yours | Google's | Larger spend | Yours |
| Landing pages | You build them | Not included | Usually extra | Included |
| Creative and copy | You write it | Not included | Usually included | Included |
| Review cadence | When you remember | Quarterly call | Monthly | Daily monitoring, biweekly review |
| Account ownership | You | You | Often the agency | You, always |
Google's free account representatives are real people who will help you — toward spending more. That's the job. It isn't a scandal, it's just worth knowing whose interest is being served.
How long until Google Ads works?
Faster than organic, and slower than the platform suggests.
| Timeframe | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Week 1 | Audit, tracking, and budget model delivered |
| Week 2 | Campaigns built and approved by you |
| Weeks 3–4 | Live, learning. Early leads arrive; cost per lead is not yet meaningful |
| Weeks 5–8 | Enough conversion data to optimize against. Cost per acquisition begins to fall |
| Months 3–4 | Stabilized performance and a reliable cost per customer you can budget against |
| Months 4+ | Scaling into what works, cutting what doesn't |
The learning period is real and it is not optional. Anyone promising efficient acquisition in week two is either overspending to buy data or misrepresenting it.

Google Ads management is included in your monthly plan as a flat fee, alongside Meta Ads, content, local SEO, and Google Business Profile. There is no separate management fee and no commission on spend.
Ad budget is separate and paid directly to Google, at cost. We model the right budget against your customer value and close rate in week one, and tell you honestly if the math doesn't work.
